In my latest work, I focus on an elongated vase form, with a low profile.
While most of my work is thrown on the wheel, I’ve started to combine throwing and hand building to expand beyond the round.
The vase is the canvas for individual mono prints. I paint coloured slips on paper and transfer them on to the clay. The technique gives the piece a bit of a nostalgic feel.
